The Musical Palette is a recital composed of a group of musicians striving to draw a line between music and the visual arts. Led by flutist Jennifer Rodriguez, the Musical Palette is an experience in which the audience not only will hear famous repertoire from composers such as Astor Piazzola to Ian Clarke, but will also see visual art from up-and-coming artists in the Indiana art scene and beyond, reaching states as far as Colorado! The creativity doesn't stop here though; The Musical Palette is also composed on comissioned repertoire from local composer Joshua Kattner whose work will be premiered on the night of the concert. Between performance, composition, painting, drawing, photography, and more, the Musical Palette links the artistic realms and creates a musical experience like no other.
